Operation Analyst

Reporting to the Production Office Supervisor of Production Planning, the Operations Analyst is responsible for working closely with internal departments and individuals to effectively coordinate and balance daily, weekly, and month end reports.

Responsabilities

  • Maintain constant communication with department supervisors/subordinates and provides direct reports
  • Liaise with all necessary departments/individuals to ensure all information is consistent and accurate
  • Communicate regularly with internal departments and individuals to ensure timelines are met
  • Assist departments in managing accurate information by giving feedback to correct inaccuracies
  • Obtain information from various resources (schedules, reports, external documents) to be used to product balancing and yields
  • Coordinate all documents including tracking incoming/outgoing products and internal reports needed to provide accurate reports to Finance
  • Ensure all product is accounted for by balancing yields – compare production bins/tags/labels to the CIP systems as to what was transferred/sold/bulk packed and/or shipped out
  • Advise departments of any yield issues- i.e. short falls or overages
  • Collect and verify all documents needed to perform the tasks
  • Ensure complete and accurate records related to meat balancing, yields and accuracy are saved for further analysis if needed
  • Bring forth recommendations regarding job efficiency improvements

Required qualifications

  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration/Materials or Operations is an asset
  • 2 years in a Manufacturing environment would be beneficial
  • Strong computer skills, specifically in MS excel and word
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and oral
  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a Team
